OpenAI has announced the launch of the NextGenAI consortium, bringing together 15 leading research institutions to advance artificial intelligence in education and scientific exploration. - Ohio State University is developing innovative therapies and advanced manufacturing techniques.
- Harvard University and Boston Children’s Hospital are working on accelerating the diagnosis of rare diseases.
- The University of Oxford is undertaking a digitalisation project for historical texts from the Bodleian Library.
This initiative complements OpenAI’s ChatGPT Edu programme, further strengthening collaboration between academia and industry. By fostering partnerships across various disciplines, OpenAI aims to enhance the practical applications of AI and drive innovation in multiple sectors.
